Setting the drag?

I have been having trouble with the drag on my reel. I lost three stripers last night when the mono broke. I am using 20lb test and fishing bunker. Any suggestions on what the best tension should be set at?

Do you think it is a tension issue or maybe the drag washers are not in the greatest shape and grabbing causing the fish to break the line try peeling line off by hand and see if it comes off steady or grabs in spots 20 lb. test is a little light for slinging bunker especially if you have a heavy sinker(if chunking)and hows the line condition even a new spool of line could be laying around for a while in the store,also check your guides to see if that is fraying your line especially the tip.
