No real surf bass 2 days in a row, Bunker pods scarce in the wash, some far out but that doesn't do us much good.

I think they schooled up Monday when all hell broke loose everywhere and left,just like they do in the fall. now the bunker boats are here and other baits are settling in

there seems to always be one last wave, just like fall fishing the last waves seem to be a boat bite. I think there will be one more wave for all BUT it started 2 weeks early this year so who knows if this is the caboose

Good point, there have been some bunker 1-2 miles offshore. Even the boat guys are getting blanked, only a few are still getting them consistent, though. Def more bunker than bass.

well just got in from fishing around the amboys a ton of short fluke small bass and alot of bunkergeting beat up by blues and some bass i lost one good fluke and it was a big one i kept one nice blue i am glad there are some bunker around that i can cast to:clapping:

i cant chase after those bunker blitz fish no time or dinero u guys can but some buddies have got into em the fish are pigs i mite give it a try this weekend but that fishing is sick! i cant wait till the blues and bait and sandeels come into sandy hook and then i will be cruzin sh to mb every nite and get me some bass!
