Do not wear waders, they will end up being you tombstone if you get washed off. Wetsuit is a great choice.

That sounds like a good option but now I have a question. If a wet suit should be worn on the jetties, then how come I never see any fisherman wearing them? Am I thinking of the wrong kind of wet suit?
