Now that I have your attention water is down to 56 and SALTY and still no major concentration of fish being reported anywhere on the Striper coast. So could it be the fish are on a serious decline not thought so by many.

It's November in a few days, the "fall run" has been on for 2 months now and most guys have had dismal results.

Even the boat guys, with the exception of a few, are not hitting the good numbers they did last year, and prior years....

Shore Catch finally got into fish in the last 2 days, good for them...:thumbsup: :HappyWave:but before that it was pretty slim pickings, with miles and miles of bunker and hardly any bass under them.

For a few days this week so far, there were....

Thick bunker pods from Belmar to Mantoloking,,,,,about 13 miles of bunker...no concentrated amounts of bass under them..."Where are the striped bass?"

IDK but I bet the crabs are huge up the eastern seaboard from all the bass they got fed from the commercials.Theres just not that many big fish left and the smaller fish are going to take so long to grow you can take a few years off from fishing and then maybe get something in the 10 lb. class if the small fish aren't killed in nets It's nearing "the end" and not Montauk either.Time to shut her down been there done that or just plain wipe them out.IMO
