Pebbles and I just started going to the Flea Market in Columbus, NJ.
It's one of the biggest continuous flea markets I've ever seen, possibly the biggest in NJ....
They have an awesome selection of junk...90% of which most of us don't need....
But that 10% is primo, and at great deals.....
So I thought if anyone found some great deals, either flea markets or online, ya might want to post about em here......

Tin squids and rough sided rebels...etc
14357
I could probably sell the rough sided rebels at bottom for $20 each to a collector I know...but why bother? I'll put new hooks on them and fish the crap out of them...:fishing:
Paid $3 each....
14356
Some original tin squids at the top, will outfish avas and t-hex 2:1....
Paid $6 for all these metals you see here.

I painted and fixed up a restaurant 10 yrs or so ago. He got rid of a big glass case to make room for another table or two.
What was in the case? Tackle.
The owner asked me if I wanted the stuff. I said sure!
Filled up 4 five gallon buckets with sinkers, hooks, bobbers, light line, spinnerbaits, and crappie jigs.
I gave away a couple of buckets worth. Used a lot of it. Still got a half a bucketful of sinkers and bobbers and such.

D*icks clearance sale - Woodbridge NJ
Pebbles and I were there the other day. I hesitate to promote them as a lot of the guys in their fishing Dept don't know much about SW fishing...http://stripersandanglers.com/Forum/images/icons/icon13.png
But they do have waders, neoprenes and breathables, "out of the box" now selling at a 30-40% discount. There's one big table of discounted stuff on the 2nd floor.
If you're interested, ask to see a manager...I usually manage to talk them down fuirther from what they have listed. my argument is that it's out of the box...etc, and the season is over...managed to score about 20 bags of rubber mullet last year for about $1 apiece after talking to the Mgr....
Just a head's up for anyone looking for a spare pair of waders. I imagine the other stores will have a bargain table right now as well.

Deal of the day....all for $20....
I kept walking away from the guy's table, he kept throwing more in to sweeten the deal....
What you see here is about 1/2 of what I bought.
A friend was there, and I made him take about 1/2 of it as I didn't feel like lugging it all home...
Bucktails, spoons, tin squids, drail weights, and some interesting flutter spoons that could be put on an umbrella rig...

2 I read about
Berkley is offering its annual spring rebates up to $40.00. You are allowed 4 rebates per address. Save your receipts and make copies. You can save on all Berkley products including line, tools etc. There are some deals out there and you might as well take advantage of them.

That was a great deal madcaster. Yeah I don't even go into sports authority anymore. Their fishing inventory was getting smaller and more pricey each year. Lost interest when they started carrying the specialty japanese jigs for 8.99 each. Those weren't anything special, just regular diamond jigs. 8.99? Get real.
There's some coupons and deals available from Berkley. Some expired on mon but some still worth looking at
http://www.berkley-fishing.com/Rebates-Promotions/Berkley-rebates-promotions,default,pg.html
Also I know we hate the big box tackle warehouses but right now d**** has some good deals. buy one lure get other at 50% off. I believe the same applies for gulp. at least it was that way at the one by me when I went there. Online deals too if you spend over $49 its free shipping and if you spend over $100 its also $20 off.

Some of you know I recently lost my beloved browning pliers when my brother dropped them from the kayak. I have been searching for a replacement since browning stopped making them.
Well I found these for $14.82 on amazon. They have the same specs as the brownings and look exactly alike just a different color grip and logo. My guess is the same factory in china made them and changed the grip color when browning stopped having them made.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005PNAFNE/ref=ox_ya_os_product_refresh_T1
I just ordered a few so when I get them I will let you guys know if they are the same quality as the original brownings.
Just a heads up browning's were stainless steel which is heavier than the aluminum pliers out there but they are much tougher IMO.
