This is arguably one of the hottest plugs to come on the scene in the last few years. Made by Daiwa, it's got a Bomber profile to it,...but the sizzle is in the Ball Bearings inside...

I just gave my best producing Daiwa away this morning to a S&A site-member I met out there....:HappyWave:

The Official name is the Daiwa Salt Minnow (model 13F) DSM13series (5 1/4 ", 2/3 ounces)

There is also a 6" version, the Daiwa Salt Pro Minnow (model 15F) DSP15 series (6", 1 1/9 ounces)

Generally, I upgrade these with better hooks and split rings,...have caught quite a few 20-25# bass on them and the stock hooks will not hold up to bigger fish...http://stripersandanglers.com/Forum/images/icons/icon9.png.

I did a How-To video on it, will post ASAP on youtube, and here.

If anyone wants to post up any feedback in the meantime about this plug, positive or negative, feel free...:fishing:

^ Hey just trying to help the New guy there, Pops!
(And I ain't the only one doing write-ups about this plug, Zeno and everyone else are jumping on the "DSM plug review" bandwagon....)

but you know I try not to follow the crowd, I would rather lead... (Googans everywhere ) The idea was in my head when I first started using this. I was a little selfish about it but since every "Sharpie" and his brother are now broadcasting the plug over the internet, I might as well put up mine, formulated many months ago....

And people. let me tell ya a little more about the Old Grouchy Basstard and his tackle scores. He's got so many connections in the tackle shop and tackle wholesaler world it ain't funny..

Before most of these "BRAND NEW" designs hit the streets, he's field testing them up to a year beforehand....a nice position to be in..yeah I'm slightly jealous,,,but I also benefit as well, and am very grateful....

And the reason Fin gets to field test this stuff is that guys know his response and advice will be brutally honest...if the new product is garbage, as he isn't getting paid to test it (like some are...;)) he tells it like it is....and you won't find a more candid answer when you ask him about the effectiveness of a product, reel, rod, etc...if ya can handle the brutal honesty, that is....:argue:

Thanks again to OGB for all ya do to try and help others, some of us really do appreciate it...

That's a great tutorial dark skies. There was some guys that got big stripers this fall. When they posted there reports on another site they blacked out the plug with photo shop. I thought that was pretty selfish. Why even post a report if you don't want to talk about what you catch the fish on? thank you.

Dogfish, are ya trying to comment on my hands, or propositioning me? :scared:
Steve, don't worry about his comments, he tends to stir things up a bit when he's bored...:kooky: ;) :HappyWave:
