post the ocean temps. This year is one for the record books. I do not remember a year recently when they were close to 50 in January.:drool:

The moco area is around 48. Interesting to see that there is a patch of water on the south shore of LI that is 51, right near the Breezy Point and Rockaways area. I bet if the season was still open they would be catching fish there!
