I know you all think I exaggerate the grouchiness of Fin here. One thing you can't exaggerate is the hours they used to put in at the rips, jetties, inlets, sea-walls, and surf line....Fin, Joe Melillo, Russ Wilson, Bobby Matthews, Mike Commune, and some of the other old-time NJ legends....

Fin would be gone for days at a time....:fishing:
and after one of those trips he came home and found his clothes on the front lawn....

So if he yells at ya for something (like you see him b-busting me all the time here...)....consider yourself lucky...for he's yelling at ya to save ya from doing something stupid,,,,something he probably did many times back in the day....:learn:

You walk into your local Wa-Wa or 7-11 for some coffee after a long night of fishin....and you can't help noticing that even though there is a long line of people waiting....there is a clear space of about 3' both in front and back of you...because of the odors coming from your general area.....:upck: :ROFLMAO

Good one! Or when you have a camper that is parked every weekend at the street leading to the beach. That's hardcore.

That's because you have to be careful your wife doesn't catch you sneaking out to fish again, after you promised her you would not, lol.

Was out the other night, howling S winds, snotty as hell, most would say it was unfishable....there were a few quality fish and I stayed till I was ready to drop.....Got home, took a shower, went to sleep....with the TV remote in my hand....

My girlfriend woke up at 5am and wanted to change the channel, only it was locked in a death grip in my hands. She gently tried to pry it out of my hands by lightly tugging it....which to me felt like the taps of a bass...

In my deep sleep, I was imagining the tugging on the TV remote was a fish, tap, tap, light taps...tap tap...I reached back to set the hook with my arms, and she yelled at me pulling me out of that deep sleep....

"Hey what the heck is wrong with you...you're scaring me!" :scared:

Me:
"I'm so sorry sweetheart, I thought I was fighting a fish!"
One night in the life of a fishing addict.....

And I KNOW some of ya's had this happen to you too, out there.....so who wants to be man enough to fess up and say ya did this? http://www.thebassbarn.com/forum/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

24 signs that you're hopelessly hooked on fishing

OK, grab your phone for a second. Do you have more pictures of fish than you do of your family members? Does your wallpaper show a place where you have — or wish you had —dropped a line in the water? And is the only reason you have a password because you don't want anyone to find those GPS coordinates that lead to your secret fishing spot? Yeah, we thought so. It's easy to get hooked on fishing (and c'mon, you love it enough to ignore that terrible joke), even though fishing doesn't always lead to, you know, actual catching something. Before you look at today's marine forecast, check out these signs of a serious fishing addiction.

"and then a cold front came and ruined my pattern" LOL story of my life. :clapping:

How about you are watching a movie on TV and see the background is a local fishing hole that you have been to. Instead of paying attention to the bilkini chicks or the plotlines, you are wondering how the fishing is there right now?
