Used in fresh water called an Alabama rig where they are casted and reeled not trolled. The drops should be hooks with shads and no jig heads. Should be casted and retrieved with a conventional rod and reel not spinning tackle hope this helps ya

Dude, no offnese, nice work but wrong application. From a boat in deeper water, ok. From the surf where there is current and deep rips, good. Fishing that from shallow water? Not so much, an accident waiting to happen.

Yeah I would fish that from the tip of Breezy on an outgoing tide the blues would smash it. I bet when they are iin you could get 3 on at one time lol.

I have to agree with finchaser ...no jigs but I have a spot in mind just for this rig. 3 blues would twist it into modern art

Or you could fish it from a bridge at night and just let it sit in the current.
