WESTERLY, R.I. -- Police have identified the man whose body was found Thursday morning on shore of an inland pond in Weekapaug as that of local resident Timothy A. Coleman.
The 65-year-old fisherman was in an area known as the "sand trail" off Spray Rock Road, on the north side of the parking area.
The state medical examiner responded to the scene, and police said that due to the circumstances the death did not appear suspicious.
