So you are fishing the beach ocean side and a pod of bunker comes within casting distance (30-60 yards). No one else is around. They are being harassed by Bass. What is the first thing you throw?

3 oz. Kastmaster with a wide profile heavily dressed tail hook similar to the bucktail but the tin will give the action get deep and still give a larger profile.

I would snag and drop right now. At the end of may I would throw pencil poppers. It all depends on what they want that day.

I have had limited experience with bunker pods, but my first choice when a long cast is needed is a 4 oz metal.
In closer its a popper or a big rubber shad to get below.
