Hey guys,

We at Rutgers University just built this underwater camera rig to hopefully capture some black sea bass footage in the wild. A lot of research has been done in the lab, but not as much in the wild with video! Plus it will allow those who are interested to see what it looks like on fishing spots along our coast!!!

We are going out videoing and tagging tomorrow so here is the teaser!!!

That's very cool, guys. wtg

What were the depths? Do you have a monitor to watch while submerged?

Great shots of the old Coast Guard Station. Really takes me back (I grew up on LBI)

Thanks! We are in 60ft of water and this is not live for us... It was exciting when we got back to the Field Station and plugged the camera into the computer!!! The Old Coast Guard Station you talk about is actually The Rutgers University Marine Field Station!!!! The Coast Guard stopped using it and it was given to RU as a Field Base!

Great work. We need more young folks like you to get involved in the marine sciences. Good luck with your studies.
