Ever wonder how minnow traps work??? [POV Video]

So I made a video on how fish move in (and possibly out) of a minnow trap because I was curious what happens underwater... It is cool to see that once one fish moves in, the rest end up following! The trap was in the water for 15min and baited...

I was just telling someone the other day I trapped minnows, eels, and small baitfish in the Meadowlands Estuary creeks as a kid....
And also in any river that held bait. It was amazing to me what would end up in those traps sometimes.

I never thought of how it happens, though....

Yea, we catch tropicals such as juvinile butterfly fish this time of the year in them! So much fun to see what you caught after a long soak!

Thanks, I would say spotted butterfly fish and gag grouper (tropical exotics)... Those are always fun surprises!
