Island Beach will not reopen this year. One positive step is getting folks back in to the Island overall. John Bushell posted this on his site yesterday:

OK, just got word from Choef of Police Larkin that Seaside Heights, Seaside Park, and South Seaside Park, residents and business owners, with their contractors and adjusters, willbe allowed into the town, every day, from 8 AM - 3 PM. This is the first step towards coming back
