I was wondering if there is a regional difference between how people fish for bass. From the north to the south of jersey is what I am talking about. Are there better times for fishing clams, than bunker, or is that a regional north south kind of thing?

and also do you have a preference in using clams vs bunker at certain times of year. The one time I can think of is after a storm, I would use clams right away.

When I fished bait (10+ years ago), I liked fishing clams in a rough surf.
Have some good memories throwing clams in some storms at Island Beach with my father.

when dunking i always had better luck with clams, but i mostly fished on lbi which is arguably south jersey.
