No Driving on Jersey Beaches

Dover Township which is Brick to Island beach state park has sent out a letter stating driving on the beach is prohibited for 2013 as no permits will be sold.

That more than sucks that is a crushing blow. Jeepers creepers you would think that they might have things together by October. Even if it was a shortened season I would be ok with it. Bummer. thanks for the infor finchaser

This could be the start of removing beach access by foot also remember each town makes it's own access laws . Government as in State and Federal have nothing to say as far as beach access goes.

Everyone is going to be crowded into the pocket of the north jetty like that day when the guy took that famous picture. think his name is Tom Lynch or something.

I thought I saw a pic of the pocket of the North Jetty filled in with sand. I thought I read you could walk out to the end of the jetty in the sand.
