Nick in the story is his cousin...This is a first-person account of a lifelong resident of Lavalette, and how he almost died during Sandy..
I'm sharing it here, courtesy of my friend, in hopes that the things his cousin went through will give some guidance as to how bad and life-threatening these storms can get.
