Ron is a fixture in the Surf Fishing Community and one of the Old Salts I always talk about.......

You knew when it was time..... when he and his son would show up for the various Spring bites that happen along the Coast.....:HappyWave:
* Raritan Bay for the big bluefish action
* Island Beach when the big bass were chasing the bunker
* Ocean County beaches in the fall when the bass were chasing small bait up and down the beach and Ron's Teasers and Ron Muccie's Glitter plugs crush the bass and blues....:fishing:


I last saw him at the Asbury Show....
Ron is getting up there in years, but still always pleasure to talk with., and a wealth of saltwater knowledge, gained by decades of fishing........one of the great Elder Statesmen of the Sport, IMO....:thumbsup: :HappyWave:


Did not know that he had cancer.....
He is in my thoughts and prayers, and I ask you folks who read this thread to join me and FC in support and prayer.....
