Monty I must admit you found some great stuff. That pic of the giant squid or whale def is the most bizarre thing I have seen but I think that was from last year.
This year I am out in front. I posted some of the most bizarre, and managed to find some unusual creatures. Also in quantity if there was a leader I should be in the top category for that too. In may 2014 I found over 23 dead and decaying bluefish and 2 big stripers all at once. It was better than a pet cemetery!

I voted for madcaster. I think he had the most variety. Steve might have had an edge for most fish. You really got lucky there dude. I think the most I seen on any one beach at one time was 4 and that was with dead bunker washed up after a blitz. It does seem like you all put way too much time into this, Tough competition. I also vote that Dark should give you trophies for each category. Funny stuff.

I accept the subtracting 1 fish for the dead shoe. All good with that penalty as per the Bylaws you created lol. That was really funny you should write up something and post in a separate thread and I will put up the bylaws I posted too. All in fun of course.
I wish I was the kiss of death for bluefish. If I caught all the bluefish I saw on the beach dead that day my arms would be broken. Some of them were big! It would be an awesome day of fishing topped off by those 2 dead bass. Does that sound sick or can you relate?:viking:

I be thinking the 2014 contest is a between Madcaster and me. You have certainly taken pics of all he blues killed in NJ this year, but you lack the quality of Madcaster's dead stuff and you have nothing that compares to my dead sturgeon.
Plus you posted the pic of the shoe which is so lame and shows your high level of panic and urgency of trying to stay in the race (keyword is trying). :HappyWave:

Sometimes I feel silly but the competition is awesome and pushes me to keep searching.

Seriously the beaches Madcaster fishes seems to have all kinds of dead stuff wash up. That could be big trouble.

If you are choosing now to come back and fish Jersey, good luck. It really sucks. Saw some bait in last few trips but not one fish. Agree about madcaster too. I wouldn't be surprised if he finds an elephant on the beach one day. He found a goat one time out there. Where the heck could a goat have came from?
