Rag wool fingerless are the ones I use, tried others but these seem to be the best.
I took an old set of neoprenes my neighbor didn't want, and decided the neoprene fingers make it like you have all thumbs. So I cut the fingertips off with a razor blade, clean cut.http://stripersandanglers.com/Forum/...cons/icon3.gif
I wouldn't buy AquaSkinz. I have three pairs which have ripped already. Their customer service sucks, never get a response.
I hate aquaskins too, they don't hold up. Get yourself a pair of Glacier gloves. On sale now at BassPro for around $25.
i use a old pair of 3 mm neoprenes works for me and the good thing they did not cost much :D
I like the Wells Lamont deerskin. They're on sale now at Sears, $15.

2nd the glaciers. My girlfriend got me a pair, I really like them.
I use wool as well, no problem getting them wet.
I got the glaciers too. Comfortable and easy on the hands.
I use the Asian fish market gloves with rubberized coating when it is moderately cold, and the Glacier gloves when it goes below 20 degrees.
Have heard good reports about the stormr typhoon fishing gloves. Not tried them yet.

bucket I have used the stormrs for surfing and fishing. pretty good quality imo
Thanks for the info fellas.
Yeah I was curious too. How about the stormr gloves has anyone tried them?
The Torque and the Cast Stormr gloves are probably better suited for surf fishing because of the the kevlar thumb and finger especially with braided line, otherwise the line would probably cut through the glove.I have purchased their new semi dry top pretty comfortable except for the neoprene wrist cuffs they are very tight according to Stormr they should stretch some we will see.
Tested the stormr gave them away were like glacier gloves hands sweat and freeze. If you do go with Stormr get the short boat glove not the surf .
I went back to wool army glove liners or Ragg wool like hookset
One of my favorites is the Manzella wind blocker gloves for really windy days thin and warm and hold up to braid really well
IMO the best water proof ,breathable glove is Clam Ice Armoire Ice Fishing gloves made exclusively for fishing
