Sandbar sharks GOM closed as of July 17 2011

The National Marine Fisheries Service is closing the commercial Gulf of Mexico non-sandbar large coastal shark fishery as of 11:30pm local time July 17, 2011. The inseason action filed in the Federal Register on July 12, 2011, will publish on July 15, 2011, and will become EFFECTIVE on SUNDAY, JULY 17, 2011.
