Two kayakers have been rescued by a group of firefighters sailing around Britain to raise funds for American colleagues affected by the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
The men, aged 51 and 66, made a distress call over their radio after running into severe weather conditions whilst kayaking from North Berwick to Dunbar, in East Lothian, at around 11.30am on Friday.
One of the men was still in his kayak and the other was holding on to the back of it.
