Delaware Bay Fishing Tournament

Area fishermen are reminded that this year’s Delaware Bay Fishing Tournament has a new date -- Saturday, Aug. 2.

The 22nd annual event offers more than $15,000 in cash and prizes. The entry fee of $100 per boat includes up to five people.

Prizes will be awarded in three different categories: bluefish, flounder and weakfish.

On tournament day, all boats will leave and return from either the Port Norris Marina or the Fortescue Captain's Association. The tournament fishing hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
