When I first read iot I thought he was using some type of alabama rig. If so that should be disqualified.
He was using a spinnerblade for petes sake! How could they disqualify something like that? He should sue them.

sounds like mustad paid somebody on the panel. sorry for my cynicism but I know that kind of stuff happens. I hope he wins!
