Didja go to the Dr yet? :beatin:
Stay home and heal yourself Deerslayer, and you can join the birdwatchers club too. You'll soon have vultures circling over your body waiting for dinner.

BTW, who gets all your VS's when you leave this world, just curious? ;)
Here are two pics of the beautiful swans. Rich's Mom and I rode down to see them. They were far away from us but I was able to get a couple shots of them.

What was more impressive to us were the seagulls and how they were flying directly in front of us to eat the bread. I have added a pic of that as well.

You guys are funny.

Hey, Rip, I'm in the process of changing the site's name as we speak. For the rest of 2010 every new membership will come complete with a pair of birdwatching binocs. ;) :HappyWave:
I'm still working out a deal with them, bit I think OGB and Frankiesurf have agreed to be our official on-the-road roving bird commentators. :ROFLMAO :plastered: :wow:
:don't know why: I 'll carry a second plug bag filled with stale bread :HappyWave:this way when the bass are wiped out I'll still have something to do:rolleyes:
Hey Dark the birdwatcher, there was a rare new species of penguin disconvered in Antartica, in case you're interested.:ROFLMAO ;)

King Penguins are notorious for their prim, tuxedoed appearance -- but a recently discovered all-black penguin seems unafraid to defy convention. In what has been described as a "one in a zillion kind of mutation," biologists say that the animal has lost control of its pigmentation, an occurrence that is extremely rare.
Too funny.
You guys see my new avatar with my son and his 10lb blue. We hit em good that day in Oct. Trolling Stretch Plugs. I will never forget that day as long as I live. Aaron, Zach, and myself.
Nice Fish. Is that the first time he ever caught a fish that big? Congrat's.
yep. You should have seen their faces. Dad dad the pole, the pole. We caught at least 20. Arm weary and all, we had a blast.
Eagles in the Navesink? :kooky:
Since you all can't seem to get enough of the swans or busting my ballz about them, I now present to you eagle feeding.
Sent in by Finchaser, so he can't bust me on this one, but I'm sure he'll try...:d
Feeding Bald Eagles...
This is amazing ... the most beautiful bird being fed by man!
In January the weather was so cold that the bald eagles were cruising over our houses looking for helpless cats to make a quick meal.
Some kind souls decided to feed the eagles down at Goose Spit so they would survive the cold spell. Here's what happened!
A former teaching colleague took these photos in front of his home. They are incredible!

Here are the men that were feeding them that Jan '09 morning....
look how the eagles just sit there fed and content, so close to them!
Rich just told me that Finchaser called to report swans in the Manasquan river. The one they are talking about is called "Swanny" the swan. There are a few people that feed him, but not Finchaser. I had to say that because I hope he doesn't get mad at me.
I don't think Finchaser is a swan lover, but you never know, as Rich says.
If anyone wants to see Swanny Swan, he is back for the season in the Manasquan river. They thought he was gay but last year he got a girlfriend, so now Swanny and his girlfriend might be parents soon. Thanks for calling that in to Rich, Finchaser, and I hope you are not too mad at Rich. When he goes fishing with you he is a much happier person the next day. :HappyWave:
Pebbles I could not get mad at you:), the only reason I told him (SOS) about the Swans arriving is so he will have something to do while he is fishing.:HappyWave:
The guy's at the marina were sure proud when they found out Swannie was not light in the loafers. He sleeps on the dock under the shed at night making a mess. When I chase him he flares up hisses at me ,sh_ts on the dock and walks away.
Eagles are a lot less majestic when they are swarming like seagulls.
I think they are majestic no matter how they are showing themselves. They represent freedom.
Pebbles and I were scouting yesterday, look what we found...:)
