she has come a long way with her casting and setting of the hook.
before she didn't bother to set the hook now,as one can see she does.
for a long time she was afraid to catch a chopper, those teefe must have scared her,now she hunts them and hits them back hard when they hit her.
I give her a :thumbsup:,,,,,,,

Been enjoying your pictures, thanks. By your wifes' smiles, it looks like she is having a great time too. How did you make out with the hurricane up there?

Back on the bass again Roddy! :thumbsup:
How did you and your wife fare after the hurricane? Power, any damage, etc?
It crushed a lot of folks in NJ and LI.....we are down but not out.....:blackeye: :headbang:
The colder weather and winds has given the fish in many of our bays and rivers lockjaw....last week there were a lot schooled up, and some pockets of high teen bass..... but with some bay/river water temps in the low 40's many have moved into the ocean by now...
Big blues....we had them before the storm, in the surf, to the high teens....:bigeyes:....would really like another shot at them as they come down the E. River and Hudson and out through the NY Bight...there were an unprecedented amount of spot (lafayette) holding them in the Hudson before the storm....
What forage are they eating?.....here it's been corncob mullet, spearing, and rainfish in close.....
and things are slowly starting to get back to normal....
Good to hear from ya, stay safe...:HappyWave:
Nice fat blues ripplugger.
Attachment 16803Attachment 16804Did this small fattie last night at 2 hrs after TOF,slammed the swimmer like a champion.
Good job rp catching on artificials can be tough in cold water. Sweet looking plug.
thanks m8,that fish slammed it hard, had another slam it but,on the swing I got a piece of him and then he got off.they will hit hard with temps of 42.
Beautiful looking fish rip plugger, hopefully a sign of good things to come.
Attachment 16836Attachment 16837Attachment 16838from this am,nice fat, strong fish.second was a bit thinner/shorter but, still a good fighter. both slammed the plug hard and dug in quick.was cold with an easterly wind blowing good, could only stand it for an hour & a half, hands were numb and shivers, good breakfast did me good after that.had fun getting out.water temp was 45f.
Nice going RiP. :thumbsup::thumbsup:
