one on my surface runner.
Looks like the small fish have settled in? Hey at least you are lucky to catch some I haven't seen small fish for a while or big fish either for that matter LOL. Nice report.
For sure he's a lucky man. I haven't caught or seen a striped bass in my area in about three weeks. Nice job RP.
yes they have, tons of them, they are also eating like crazy.
they even follow my swimmers on to and some even hit.
anyhow,I am not after them, the larger fish are seemingly moving out, water temp is @ 70f now.
time for me to hunt gators now and I have not seen a single one yet.
And congrats on catching the bass, sometimes I just look at the posts in this thread and drool and wish we had fishing like that.
20 pound blue fish about a month ago.
it was 41 and a half inches but the picture does not do it justice.
I should have lined up next to some of the smaller ones they were getting then you would have seen how really big it was.
posted in the bluefish thread in NJ forum.

I wish I was catching as many stripers as you and finchaser and dark and some of the other guys but I have just not been able to slay the bass this year like you guys have. I can't stay out all night fishing for them like some of you can so I have to pick my moments. Maybe I'll do better in the fall.
Me too the times I usually get the fish are when they are not biting LOL. just got to get out there when you can, tight lines.
gators like warm water,70 is about optimum for them.
around here they start to move out when it gets down to 52 or so.
so far I have not seen anyone catch one but, hear of them being caught.
lots of threadfins around now along with butterfish.
bunkers seem to be moving around a lot, they come and go.
