Many thanks to Rip Plugger for this 3 oz beauty.

Those plugs are some of the fattest I have ever seen from any plug builder. Look just like fat pregnant bunnker or herring. Nice work.
Dogfish, you are correct, the big plug makers are just not into doing large bodied swimmers,I do them because I wanted them and could never find them at all.
that's my biggest reason for starting to make my own.
with it's compact body it will cast like a baseball and with it's wide profile it will waggle heavy and will push lots of water aside as it goes along, thats what gets a fish's attention even if the fish does not see the lure,it damn sure hears it moving along.
at 3 oz,it will even cut though wind in your face well and not tumble like a potato chip.
and thanks for the kind words.

check you tube for my video by steve youn with Lou-T test swimming my fatcat swimmers.
A few I managed to get done other then tying the tails
Like the 3rd one in the pic SS. Perfect little guy for when the peanut bunker or herring show up.
Thanks little egg swimmer, the surfster is some crazy color scheme you never know what the final color will be when airbrushing to Pink Floyd.
Old Floyd, The Wall was good after that they had their moments
Haven't thrown that one but have thrown others that I have made in the past,I haven't had much time been taking care of Mom she needs 24/7 care right now so fishing is on the back burner.I get some work done when I get a little relief from my brother and sister-in law Looks like Spring fishing has to be put on the back burner for now.

4 dressed for action.[fatcats]
steve,that's the whole idea.
a big bunker that's cruising along undisturbed makes an easy target, swimming steady and slow,it peaks their interest and hopefully their feedbag.
