Good job. If you don't want them to freeze you can always have a winter clambake.
Jb you are crazy to be out there clamming in 28-degree weather. How many layers did you have on?
Also wanted to say I think this cold snap will shut the stripers down.
They have 60 degree weather tomorrow, and then snow forecast this weekend, that's nuts.
Nice catch on the clams. How do you get the setup to float when it's loaded?
fished the back last night. Water got a little warmer. A couple more small runts on rubber.
Nice. if it doesn't snow I'll be out there fishing some bloodworms this weekend.
Yesterday was too nice out not to wet a line. Fished out front Moco, my usual area. one hour after high tide. picked up a few small ones with a light bucktail. Nice time on the water.
Nice job buckethead! I wanted to get out Sunday but gonna see how cold it is after Asbury..
Good going thanks for the report!
Thank you sir always enjoy your reports.
Last night in the back. 1st 2 hrs of outgoing tide. Got the skunk. Saw a few tiny stripers caught on worms. It seemed like the water temperature dropped a few degrees. Hooray March.
What's with the lack of fishing reports from you guys? Grumpy's reports they're selling tons of worms. Someone please go out there and catch and let me know when the fishing's good. Meanwhile I'll keep watching reruns of Breaking Bad.:moon:
I read that on Grumpy's as well. It's probably all those power plant fish.
At this point any striper is better than no stripers.
Took advantage of a perfect afternoon yesterday and fished oceanside. Bucktail tipped with small white curly grub. Nada. The walk out there was refreshing though. Just need the water to warm up a little bit more
Yes they did. It's a damn shame. It's nothing new. every year a small group idiots f*** it up. Then the police start enforcing the no trespassing. Then by the end of the year everyone forgets because facebook fishermen don't want to fish in the cold. Then in the spring it starts up all over again. Vicious cycle.
it has been happening for some time. Found this on the internet.
