An angler has been drawing crowds in his Chinese hometown for his risky fishing technique.

The trader can be witnessed casting his reel as he balances on a narrow pipe high above the river in Nanjing, according to Modern Express.

Onlookers who gathered on Tuoban Bridge were told by the man's business partner that no fish was safe when his friend was around. The angler then apparently caught four within 30 minutes using no bait.

"I have a good sense of balance. And anyway, I'm a good swimmer," he replied when questioned about his safety
