where did you put the numbers?

Boat You Must Register in NJ

Any boat that longer than 12 feet and all motor-powered vessels, regardless of length, MUST be registered in New Jersey.

If your boat is 12 feet or shorter, you do not need to title it. You will also have slightly different instructions to register it in New Jersey. See "Boat Registration Requirements and Procedures" below.

We have never been hassled by the CG or NJSP and we see both of them quite often on the water.

If I took the motorized yak into fresh water I would be worried...they are more into checking small jon and bass boats for registrations.

Curious about that... but yes, I agree, in FW they would definitely check you out. I guess the CG and NJSP are more worried about us terrorists who try to tie up to a bridge and catch a tog (in season ) than worry about a scofflaw yakker
