I used to do some fishing up in the Dingmans area.
Was a lot of fun and had some great action picking those smallmouths out of rough water.
Looking forward to your report (try to post it this year if possible).

I say it takes him at least a month to post up! Sorry dark had to say it!
^ Eff ya's all! (only took 25 days)
I'll post as I get a chance. We found several groups fishing from kayaks and canoes. I tried to chat a little as we passed them by. Got to see some decent fish landed. Mostly smallies. They lost some others.
These pics are a little far away because I didn't want to look like a tourist and ruin any action for them.
What was interesting was these were aggressive in the faster water.... Some small striped bass were also caught along the brushpiles and eddies along the sides.
All trolling or casting small swimmers.
We also met a Dad and son who had caught a 27" bass on chunk bait near a brige upstream the evening before. The variety of fish is definitely there. Mostly smaller ones.......however one of the guys fishing said he had gotten smallies up to 3 1/2#, which is a very nice size for a smallmouth.
