bunker in the bays?

This is a very strange year indeed. Friends of mine who live in connecticut are reporting peanut bunker in the rivers there. Also bunker reports in the li sound.

Saw a bunch last night too just checking out the new structure and spots after work. Good thing the water is not warm there would be dead bunker all over the place.

These were some peanut bunker that were netted today in the back of GSB. Not my pic. Had to share it though, crazy.

The winds have been brutal, the bunker are still there. Almost every place I have stopped to check at night there have been a few pods. Some places have a s*** ton of them. Looking good.

Well I've been seeing them for the last 3 weeks, on and off. They were mostly deep in the channels. Saw quite a few gannets diving in the last few days before it snowed. Think it will be a good year.

lots of bunker in the lower delaware bay this year as well.

First year in a while that the barney bay is loaded with bunker. l-o-a-d-e-d
