$500 Fish

This was the fish that netted me a cool $500, I came out of a long time out from fishing tournaments. I am a shocking 2-0 in tournaments (the other being the absecon do it all night striper) BUT i don't even try unless I got a solid shot

It wouldnt fit in the net

but the netting wrapped the hook in the netting offort was a tense few mins as I waded waist deep to hug and land the fish. The lip grippers after I lifted him from the river in the morning for the weigh ins, he resisted his trip across town.

I am confident the state record is in my river and I am actively hunting it down.

32 lbs. a day after i said i know the state record is in the river a 45 lb was taken 2 lbs shy

That is a very nice cat. I caught them in the Delaware when I was younger. we would try to find a deeper hole or front of a smaller out flow or creek at night, and then fish with chicken livers. never caught one that big though.Good job.
