Big albies this year, another NY state record for false albacore?

What I saw this morning in terms of Albies reminded me of the great action a few years ago. they were all over. I only managed to 2 to 8 pounds. Did not have all day to stick around and fish for them.
with all the white bait I saw and the blowups, I think it will be a fantastic year. It's quite possible someone will come close to John Skinner's state record if they stick around till the end of October.
Get out there and catch them up, fellas. They are lots of fun and addictive.

I agree. I was out in Mecca yesterday and saw them porpoising all over. This will be a false albacore year to remember.
