New plugs for spring

love those plugs. They look pretty sturdy. what kind of wood are you using to make them?

I am in the process of building well,sealing what I am going to paint up.
they are built already with some hanging up for a long dry with one still soaking in the sealer now,taking it out tonight to hang up.
only making 8 this winter and have 2 left to shape.
here are 2 of what I have hanging up drying.
2 fat hound dogs for the windy days.
this design casts very well in windy conditions.
