75.4 lb bass caught off Block Island

A huge cow bass was caught off Block island 7/18 by RISSA member Peter Vican. It was taken on the SW ledge.

Fish was caught on an eel.

That rod and reel looks like a lite setup, wonder how he managed to set the hook with that? Must have been a battle to land that fish.

looks like a penn reel, the rod looks like a 7 1/2' or 8, maybe that rod is just a prop? wtg anyway, great catch!

This report was 6-19, so I think he got the bass 6-18, 1 month shy of tghe 2 yr anniversary of his last one. So he got not just one, but two, record fish in his lifetime! Congrats, great catch!
