If anyone has ever traveled down there for family fun and fishing, please consider signing this petition. The way of life as we know it down there is being challenged. The only way to fight this is with numbers of fishermen, or lawsuits, Please let your opinion count, even if you don't fish there. Thanks.

ON July 30th, the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Energy will be holding discussions on S3113, the bill to toss out the Consent Decree and return the OBX back to the more reasonable Interim Plan governing ORV access to the Outer Banks. The pro access folks would like to present the committee a petition with 10,000 signatures on it. Please follow the link, sign and submit your signature. It takes just a minute and you'll be helping to restore ORV access to the OBX.

This is not only important for Cape Hatteras it is important in the battle for beach access everywhere. The enviro-whackos realize this. In their own words. "This attack on the laws that safeguard our parks and seashores could set a dangerous precedent," said Jason Rylander, attorney for Defenders of Wildlife. They realize that if ORV access is preserved at Cape Hatteras, it could be restored at other National Seashores.

Would you like to return to being able to access places like Cape Cod National Seashore or Gateway or strike the first blow in the impending battle at Assateague. Sign the petition.
