    Default Cool Connecticut Pics

Some pics from the other day.

Lighthouse, and petrified wood. The wood was part of a semi-bulkheaded jetty. I imagine the timbers had the minerals wash off the rocks and leach onto the wood, or at least that's what it looked like. Never seen petrified wood around here before, pretty cool.

biggest dog on the block, 185 lbs vs 15 lbs. Big Great Dane was pretty gentle, though he coulda killed the small dog with one chomp.

I know that lighthouse. Best time to fish is high tide, or after a storm. Nice pics.

Guy named George from Michoacan. Too many people complain about Mexicans trashing up every place they fish. We found this guy walking around picking up all the trash on and near the rocks, and putting it in a dumpster. When I asked him why he was doing it, he said: " I no want them to close this place down, I like to fish here. " Need more people like that in our fishin spots.
