Fishing trawler beached on coast

Unsuccessful attempts have been made to refloat a 50ft (15m) long fishing trawler that has beached near Rhossili on Gower.

Four crew members had to be taken off by lifeboat when the Bruno, which had sailed from Devon in search of whelks, slipped anchor during the night.

Swansea coastguard received a Mayday call at 0220 BST.
The vessel appeared to have escaped damage and efforts were made to tow it back out to sea at high tide.
Rescuers are expected to try again on Wednesday.
Swansea coastguard said a rescue team had been at the scene with the vessel throughout the night and day reporting back to the operations room.
The Burry Port inshore lifeboat took the four crew off the vessel after they requested evacuation and the all-weather Tenby Lifeboat was on hand to help.
