    Default Battle of the braid!

I use power pro, happy with it unless I'm untangling a wind knot. You have these threads here, but no rating systems.

So sound off on your latest braid, let's see which one stands up to heavy abuse.

Spiderline Salt water fishing by Pure Fishing. Crappiest line ever.
Spooled some on a reel the other day, got abrasiions and line frays after the 10th cast. Don't ever buy that line guys, mine went in the garbage. From now on I stick with the old reliable power pro.

Sportfishing Mag did a great comparison on braid:

Sufix performance braid now. Used Power Pro last year and it was great. Not one problem. Then this year bought a new batch of Power Pro (30 lb, same as last year) and had about 5 line breaks for no reason. Made the switch and all has been perfect. I have heard about Power Pro bad batches before and now have experienced it.
