    Thumbs up Lake Fork, Texas

We just recently completed our takeasoldierfishing event on Lake Fork. Lindale B.A.S.S. Club hosted this event with 95 service members and 95 boaters. Our main goal for fishing was Black Bass but the service members were able to fish for whatever species they wanted.

The day started off cool with a temperature of about 60 degrees with very little wind. Water temperature was between 72 and 78 degrees depending where you were and the water was stained to about 3ft.

Overall it was a tough day of fishing for most and you couldn't buy a bite unless you fished a certain way. It was said that Texas Rigged small plastics tossed out at the end of main lake points produced in watermelon seed colors. Drop shot used with ribbontail worms in pearl and also in watermelon seed produced small fish.

We had a great time and if you woul dlike to start something like this in your area please email me and we wil help you set it up.
