Default Fishing clothes for late fall

Wanted to ask some of the people who spend a lot of time on the water, how they do it and stay comfortible without freezing?

I know the standard long johns thermal drill from snowboarding and winter sports. But any other tips would be appreciated.

cotton holds moisture, if you want your feet to stay dry put something else under the cotton socks next to your skin, nylon dress socks like the ones you wear to weddings and funerals.

"grabber mycoal" hand warmers. Not clothing but if you are going to be standing in wet and cold, grab a few packs of these. They last up to 8 hours.Don't get them wet.
