    Default Shout out to Surfstix1963

    Today he's under the knfe in a serious operation.

    I didn't want to embarass him and go into a lot of details, other than to say that he has serious medical issues that caused him many painful days and nights. Those who know him know that he's the type who hates to complain. He would instead rather focus on the lives of others, and always tends to minimize his own problems. He's such a helpful and thoughtful guy many would never have known about the medical issues he faces.

    Just putting this up here to let him know that he's not alone.

    He faces a long period of recovery. I don't know how soon he'll be able to come back and visit us.

    I do know that he'll be able to look at a computer sooner or later & see our well-wishes, and any funny stuff we put up here.

    I got the call from his wife that he made it out of the operation OK. He'll still be in the hospital for a few days though.


    I was driving around yesterday and saw this truck on the road, so I took a pic...
