    Default Wow! Did you know...

Did you know that there are currently more than 60 bills pending that may either positively or negatively affect your ability to fish, hunt or trap in NJ?

Did you know there is a pending bill that establishes recreational saltwater fishing license?

Did you know there is a bill that changes composition and revises authority of Fish and Game Council; creates nonlethal alternative committee within council?

Did you know there is a bill that authorizes DEP to issue and charge fee for commercial license for taking spiny dogfish within State waters.

Did you know there is a bill that requests and urges U.S. Secretary of the Interior to add red knot to federal endangered species list.

Did you know that there is a bill that authorizes black bear hunting permits and permit fees, and clarifies Fish and Game council authority over bear hunting?

Do you know who wrote or sponsors these bills? When you find yourself in the voting booth this November will you be sure of who you want elected?

I think too many of us are content to let the "other guy" do the work and get involved, or else we don't worry about it unless the problem is directly affecting us. Other than Anthony here, who wants to be the "other guy"? Not us, we're too busy. But then we shouldn't complain when we get screwed by the politicians and special interests.

I think someone said that Apathy is the enemy of Democracy.
Great job you're doing there, Anthony. Keep up the good work.

The politics of fishing. Takes the fun right out of it

Thanks for sharing, the rollercoaster of change has to start somewhere....
If everything was perfect, nothing would be "UNIQUE"
