    Default Shaping Wood

    Rip Plugger shaped these with a hand held air sander with an 80 grit disc!
    He got it to the basic shape he wanted and then smoothed it by hand with
    80,120,180 grit DA paper.

    nice work I use a combination of stuff, but mainly a hand planer sand paper, sometimes a sanding belt to contour stuff ...

    Ahh yes,HCL,a beltsander[stand up] can do wonderful things,you can do everything on them,almost.
    take a look in the "show your plugs forum"some cool stuff there.
