    Default Catching bait

I was thinking about catching my own bait, example, sandworms or blood worms. Does anyone have any experience with this? How do you go about doing this and where can you go find them?

Get a pitchfork. And some rubber boots or waders in case it gets a little messy out there. Walk the bays during the extreme low tides and start digging and turning over forkfuls of dirt. You will not find sandworms that are decent here, most are dug in Maine. You will find bloodworms and tapeworms. Don't eat them unless you cook them very well.
