    Default rigged kayaks and ideas

Hey guys right now I'm running the idea of getting a kayak around in my brain. I'm looking for the coolest rigged ones so I could get some ideas for a safe and stable SOT that I can use to fish rips and near inlets. Can anyone help me with pics? thanks

What exactly are you looking for? Rod holders, anchor trolley systems, gear stowage, fishfiinder mounts? Give me a specific need, and I could maybe help some more. In the meantime, here's some pics.

Steve, here's some pics I've been taking of kayaks I have seen around. Some nice rigging ideas here, enjoy.

Native Manta Ray kayak, talked to the guy who owns it, he's very happy with it. I had always heard good things about this kayak, but seen very few of them around. Nice design.

Default More kayak rigging and modifications

I helped a guy carry his yak back to his car a few weeks ago. He was out in 3+ feet swells, and took a rough surf landing. He was a trooper though, handled it pretty well despite the waves crashing over him.

These are some of the mods he did to his kayak, I thought they were pretty cool. He works with small pvc to make a basket to fit his crate in. I guess the reasoning behind that is that it's a more stable platform, and it gives you more area to run the bungees around and tighten things up. Nice meetin ya, man.
