    A popular gamefish for pier, surf, and inshore areas, the spotted seatrout is good eatin and puts up a decent fight on light tackle.

    I like catching them in the sounds with a green plastic leadhead jig, with a shrimp teaser. they seem to like holes and sloughs on the flats. great eating fish.

    btw, what's with the fangs, anyway?
