storm Runoff and fish

I was looking to fertilize my lawn and decided to find something that was more organic and the usual main brand I use. The runoff from people's yards can do a lot of harm to our aqua life. Do you fertilize your yard and has anyone given any thought to the damage the runoff can do?

Been here 10 yrs and haven't fertilized the yard yet. Doesn't look all that great, but is fine for throwing the frisbee around.

Besides, why would I want it to grow any faster than it does already? I got better things to do on Saturday than mowing a coupla acres of lawn.

well u know when we get the algae bloom thats were it comes from the fertilizer and nutriants in the run off hit the bay and boom not good
